Desk Name Tent Generator

Paste in your class list and get a full set of desk name tents—one letter-size page per student, fold lines already marked, no cutting required. Fold twice and tape shut to make a standing triangle.

Privacy tip: please avoid using students' full legal names. Use a first name, nickname, initials, or student number instead—these sheets are meant to be seen (and sometimes photographed) by other people in the room.

Format: name | Chinese name | color (optional). Pinyin is generated automatically from the Chinese name. Leave a field blank if it doesn't apply—just a name on its own also works. Optional color words: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple.

Each card below prints on its own full letter-size, landscape page.

How to assemble: print landscape, then fold along both dashed lines so the sheet forms a triangle that lies flat on the desk, like a little tent with the ridge running left to right. The name shows on the two angled faces (visible to the student and to whoever is across the table); the third panel rests flat as the base. Fold the narrow end tab behind Panel 1 and tape or glue it there.
